HISTORY OF C.A.B'S IN VICTORIA

 

At a seminar organised by the Victorian Family Council in 1960 it was decided that there was a need to establish C.A.B services in Victoria.  In 1962 a pilot project was established in the Nunawading Council area.   Following the success of that project similar centres have been established and there are now over 50 C.A.B's in the state.   A list of suburban centres is listed in the White Pages under "Community Information Centres".
