ABOUT THE DANDENONG COMMUNITY ADVISORY BUREAU

 

The Dandenong Community Advisory Bureau (DCAB) is a community based, non-profit organisation which provides a free, information, support and referral service to the local community.  All enquiries are confidential.  DCAB is one of the member agencies of the network of Community Information Centres which operates under the policies and procedures of Community Information Victoria. 

 

DCAB is operated by a Committee of Management comprising representatives of the local community, small business, local solicitor, government and community agencies and representatives of the DCAB volunteer staff.  DCAB is staffed by over 20 volunteers who have been trained to provide these services supported by two paid workers.  All of the staff is trained to be able to provide the DCAB services.
